Cloud Strategy Consultant – Technology Consulting

About the role

Join EY's Technology Consulting team in Cairo to help organisations define and execute cloud strategies that drive measurable business value. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to shape cloud operating models, establish governance frameworks, and deliver transformation programmes across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver cloud strategies, adoption roadmaps and transformation cases.
• Conduct current‑state assessments, maturity diagnostics and gap analyses.
• Develop business cases, value propositions and investment justifications for cloud initiatives.
• Translate cloud strategy into practical work‑plans, implementation roadmaps and operating models.
• Design Cloud Target Operating Models (CTOM), governance structures, service models and role definitions.
• Support the creation and mobilisation of Cloud Centres of Excellence.
• Implement governance, demand management, FinOps, value tracking and control frameworks.
• Lead or support delivery workstreams, including planning, RAID management, status reporting and stakeholder communications.
• Prepare consulting documentation, executive presentations, workshop materials and decision papers.
• Contribute to cloud‑related RFPs, pursuits and thought‑leadership content.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering cloud strategy, operating model design and governance within consulting engagements.
• Strong analytical ability to assess cloud maturity and define target‑state ambitions.
• Excellent client‑facing skills and ability to collaborate with IT, digital, security, finance, procurement and business leaders.
