CNC Lathe Machinist (Petroleum Services)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our petroleum services division, supporting manufacturing, repair and re‑threading of OCTG accessories and oilfield equipment. The role is site‑based, operating on a 3‑week on / 1‑week off rotation at our operational sites in Alexandria or Matrouh.

Key responsibilities

• Set‑up, operate and monitor CNC lathes (Weiler E90/E70) safely and efficiently.
• Load, verify and adjust machining programs, tooling and fixtures.
• Produce components to engineering drawings, maintaining required tolerances and thread specifications.
• Perform dimensional checks with precision measuring instruments and ensure traceability.
• Maintain daily machine inspections, cleanliness and report any malfunctions.
• Follow HSE procedures, wear PPE and uphold safety standards at all times.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or equivalent; CNC machining certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating CNC lathes in an oil‑field or industrial environment.
• Familiarity with API and Premium connection re‑threading.

• Operation of Weiler E90/E70 CNC lathes.
• Threading operations and tool setting/offsets.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Precision measurement and dimensional inspection.
• Oilfield equipment manufacturing and OCTG accessory refurbishment.
