About the role

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and investigate complaints related to municipal codes, ordinances, and regulations.
• Identify violations, serve notice of violations, and prepare detailed reports.
• Appear at administrative hearings as required to present findings.
• Collaborate with the unit supervisor and other city departments to enforce compliance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Honorable discharge if any prior service in the Armed Forces.
• Valid original driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Pass the Broward College CJBAT test (score required).
• Successful completion of a polygraph exam and background screening.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
