Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

The Commercial Finance Manager will join a high‑performing finance team supporting a fast‑growing international consumer goods business. You will work at the intersection of finance, strategy and commercial decision‑making, helping shape investment decisions and long‑term plans across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning processes across several markets and business units.
• Build detailed financial models to evaluate growth opportunities, investment decisions and commercial initiatives.
• Deliver insightful analysis of business performance, identifying risks and opportunities to improve profitability.
• Support strategic planning through scenario modelling, business case development and investment appraisal.
• Partner with commercial, marketing, supply‑chain and operations teams to assess customer, channel and market performance.
• Provide financial support for new business opportunities, expansion projects and growth initiatives.
• Develop and enhance reporting processes, dashboards and performance metrics.
• Influence senior stakeholders with data‑driven insights and drive continuous improvement of financial processes.

Required profile

• Experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Financial Planning, Business Partnering or Strategic Finance.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable commercial insights.
• Proven stakeholder management skills, especially partnering with non‑finance teams.
• Proactive, curious and solutions‑oriented attitude.
• Background in FMCG, consumer goods, retail or a similarly fast‑paced commercial environment is a plus.
