Commis - Food & Beverage Operations

About the role

Dawam Business Solutions is hiring a Commis in Greater Cairo for a full-time position in food and beverage operations. The Commis prepares, cooks and serves a variety of food items while strictly following quality, hygiene and presentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve food according to approved recipes, HACCP standards and portion control guidelines.
• Follow cooking and plating SOPs and carry out opening and closing duties in line with internal procedures.
• Check product shelf life, label items with production and expiry dates, and monitor and report waste.
• Receive and prepare food orders, clean fridges, shelves, counters and utensils at the end of the shift, and perform regular inventory checks against par levels.
• Order missing items from the internal store and stay informed about products to answer customer questions.
• Follow environmental and personal safety rules, and comply with security, fire and safety protocols, reporting incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Food Safety Level.
• High school degree is a plus.
• Zero to one year of experience in F&B operations or a similar role.
