Community Partnership & Events Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, relationship‑focused Community Partnership & Events Manager to create and nurture strategic collaborations, boost community engagement, and deliver high‑impact events that advance our mission.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and maintain strategic partnerships with nonprofits, businesses, educational institutions and local stakeholders.
• Represent the organization at networking events, community meetings and public engagements.
• Co‑create joint programs, sponsorships and outreach initiatives with partners.
• Plan, coordinate and execute community events, workshops, conferences, fundraisers and networking activities, managing timelines, budgets and logistics.
• Oversee venues, vendors, speakers, volunteers and ensure events meet quality standards and safety requirements.
• Collect and analyse partnership performance data, event outcomes and produce post‑event reports with improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote events and partnership activities.
• Maintain partnership databases, event records and monitor budgets and expenses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, Public Relations or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in community engagement, partnership development, event management or a similar role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously.
• Strong relationship‑building, networking and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using event‑management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent) or CRM platforms.
