Compliance Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Compliance Specialist to lead social, ethical and operational compliance initiatives at our manufacturing facility in the Ismailia Free Zone, Egypt. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure adherence to labor laws, customer codes of conduct and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor compliance programs across the plant.
• Conduct internal audits, inspections and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate customer, third‑party and internal audits, ensuring audit readiness and timely closure of findings.
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, audit reports and corrective action trackers.
• Monitor compliance with labor legislation, workplace regulations, ethical standards and customer requirements.
• Deliver compliance awareness sessions and training for employees.
• Collaborate with HR, Operations, EHS and Plant Management to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify compliance risks, recommend corrective actions and monitor their implementation.
• Prepare regular compliance reports and update management on audit results and performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Law, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in compliance, social compliance or ethical compliance within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the apparel or garment manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with customer compliance standards, social compliance frameworks and audit requirements.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory regulations and workplace compliance.
• Excellent documentation, reporting and record‑keeping abilities.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
