Consolidation Senior Manager

About the role

The Consolidation Senior Manager will work closely with the Consolidation VP to lead the consolidation function across the group. This senior position is responsible for ensuring accurate quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and compliance with Egyptian GAAP and IFRS.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the consolidation department and guide team members on all consolidation tasks.
• Prepare, review and sign off separate and consolidated financial statements on a quarterly basis.
• Research and resolve accounting issues, implement new accounting pronouncements, and ensure compliance with Egyptian GAAP and IFRS.
• Support regulatory reporting for investors, EGX and the Financial Regulatory Authority.
• Act as the primary liaison between subsidiaries, external auditors and the finance department for new accounting standards.
• Coordinate quarter‑end and year‑end audits and prepare statutory financial statements.
• Prepare country‑by‑country reports and assist with special projects, ERP enhancements and ad‑hoc analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA or CPA.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and consolidation.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian GAAP, IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
