Construction Manager – French Speaking

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This position requires fluent French communication to coordinate with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction activities from initiation to completion.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely execution.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Supervise site engineers and construction teams, ensuring work follows drawings and specifications.
• Control project costs, manage budgets, and handle variations, claims, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings, and prepare progress reports for senior management.
• Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials effectively.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, Planning, MEP, and Procurement departments.

Required profile

• Fluent French speaker (mandatory).
• 10–15 years of experience in construction projects.
• 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in residential, commercial, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management principles, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
