Construction Safety Manager

About the role

The Construction Safety Manager will be based on‑site in 6 October and will lead safety performance for electromechanical construction and installation projects. This full‑time position is responsible for creating, maintaining and continuously improving safety policies, procedures and culture in line with local regulations and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and update site safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, safety audits and daily toolbox talks.
• Investigate incidents and near‑misses, produce detailed reports and ensure corrective actions are applied.
• Coordinate safety training, orientations and maintain comprehensive safety documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, contractors and clients to plan safe work methods and promote a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Strong background in Occupational Health and Environment Health & Safety (EHS).
• Proven experience in construction or industrial environments, preferably electromechanical projects.
• Knowledge of local and international safety regulations and codes (e.g., OSHA, fire safety, working at height, confined spaces).
• Excellent communication, coaching and organizational skills.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH or OSHA are a strong advantage.
