Consultant Liaison Officer (Fluent English)

About the role

The Consultant Liaison Officer acts as the primary bridge between external consultants and our organization, ensuring smooth integration, effective communication, and compliance with UK healthcare regulations. This position supports onboarding, coordinates with internal teams and hospitals, and helps resolve any consultant‑related issues.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the onboarding process for new consultants.
• Follow up on prior communications with targeted consultants.
• Inform internal teams and hospitals about consultant arrivals and employment applications.
• Complete IT forms, register consultants with insurers, and verify GMC/HCPC/GDC compliance.
• Add consultants to CRM systems and maintain all legal and GDPR‑compliant documentation.
• Liaise with hospitals and internal departments to address consultant queries and issues.
• Assist with business development tasks and maintain databases.
• Chase pending applications (insurance or professional permits) and conduct market research as required.

Required profile

• University degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years experience in UK healthcare, familiar with insurance and professional‑permit regulations.
• Fluent English, fast learner, proactive and able to work both independently and in a team.
• Strong communication, organization, problem‑solving and multitasking abilities.
• Commitment to confidentiality and data security.
