Contract Administration Section Head – Engineer

About the role

The Contract Administration Section Head – Engineer is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Cairo, Egypt. Reporting to senior management, the role leads the contract administration function across multiple engineering and construction projects, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and that commercial performance is optimised.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate contract documents in line with company policies and client requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams and external partners to clarify scope, deliverables and timelines.
• Monitor contract performance, manage variations, claims and change orders, and prepare regular performance reports.
• Standardise contract administration processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering a high‑performing contract administration team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of contract management and administration within engineering or construction environments.
• Proven ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with clients, consultants and suppliers.
• Analytical mindset to assess contract risks and support data‑driven decision making.
• Experience collaborating with procurement functions and aligning contracts with sourcing strategies.
