Contracts Engineer - Safaga

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for a Contracts Engineer to support the contractual and commercial management of construction projects during pre- and post-award stages. The role helps with risk assessment, contract administration, claims and variation management, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, negotiating and administering contracts and subcontracts.
• Support preparation of tender-stage risk registers and contract reviews.
• Administer main contracts, maintain documentation, logs and contract records.
• Prepare and issue contractual correspondence, EOT claims and variation orders.
• Review subcontract agreements and manage related communications and claims.
• Monitor and track claims, variations and contractual issues.
• Attend project meetings and provide contract-related input.
• Prepare internal reports, registers and kick-off presentations.
• Coordinate with legal, commercial and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian law, procurement regulations and FIDIC standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in construction contract administration.
• Knowledge of FIDIC and Egyptian construction regulations.
• Fluent in English.
• Contract management certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and document control systems.
• Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills.
