Cost Accountant

About the role

ARX Development, a fast‑growing real estate developer, is seeking a Cost Accountant to support its residential and commercial projects in New Damietta. You will collaborate with project managers, procurement and finance teams to ensure cost efficiency and compliance with company policies. The role will ensure accurate cost tracking, variance analysis and asset management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project cost centres and record all related expenses.
• Analyse material, labour and overhead costs and prepare detailed cost reports.
• Monitor expenses against project progress and investigate variances.
• Maintain fixed‑asset registers, calculate depreciation and perform periodic inventory counts and reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 4–6 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within real‑estate projects.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
