Cost Control Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Cost Control Manager to join the first Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt. You will be responsible for monitoring, analysing and optimising the hotel's expenses across all departments while ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly financial reports to identify cost variances and trends.
• Assist in preparing annual operating budgets and cost‑control forecasts with department heads.
• Track actual expenditures versus budgeted amounts and produce variance reports.
• Oversee inventory management for food & beverage, housekeeping and maintenance, ensuring proper stock rotation and minimizing waste.
• Support procurement by reviewing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers and ensuring purchases align with budget guidelines.
• Prepare detailed cost‑control reports covering labour, food, beverage and operational costs for senior management.
• Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with cost‑control policies and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Experience in cost control, budgeting or financial analysis within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
