About the role
The Customer Care Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience at the reception desk. This role blends front‑desk administration with patient support, handling registration, payments, and coordination with clinical staff.
Key responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors, manage check‑in and check‑out processes.
- Collect demographic, insurance, and pre‑registration information.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries via email.
- Collect co‑payments, process daily cash receipts, and ensure accurate financial transactions.
- Maintain confidential patient records and update files promptly.
- Verify patient information, process approvals, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Promote additional services through upselling and cross‑selling based on patient needs.
- Record and enter patient data with zero errors and adhere to SOPs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care coordination.
- Handle customer complaints, billing questions, and feedback collection.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
- 0‑2 years of experience in a medical center, customer service, or related healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of patient registration, appointment scheduling, and health insurance is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
