Patient Care Coordinator – Egypt

About the role

The Patient Care Coordinator supports and manages Patient Support Programs, ensuring patients receive timely, compassionate assistance throughout their treatment journey. Acting as a trusted advocate, the coordinator removes barriers to care and helps expand access to medical benefits across the globe.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the line manager and program team in managing Patient Support Programs, liaising with key stakeholders and ensuring timely enrolment of eligible patients.
• Maintain accurate patient files, electronic records, and regular performance reports, while ensuring compliance with international standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Accompany team members on visits to healthcare providers, pharmacies, or support sites to facilitate program implementation and medication delivery.
• Participate in required trainings (product, pharmacovigilance) and report adverse events or product complaints as per client and Axios SOPs.

Required profile

• A degree or diploma in a medical field or social work; 0‑1 year experience in healthcare, scientific, NGO, or customer service environments.
• Strong organizational skills, adaptability, dependability, and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
• Willingness to travel frequently and flexibility in working hours, including occasional visits outside the designated region.
