Customer Project Technical Engineer

About the role

Schneider Electric is looking for a Customer Project Technical Engineer to join its engineering team in New Cairo. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality power system studies and technical solutions for utility, industrial and renewable energy clients, ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform power system studies using ETAP and Ecodial, including load flow, short‑circuit, arc‑flash, harmonic, relay coordination, motor starting, transient stability, and cable ampacity analyses.
• Develop and validate system models from client data and field measurements, and produce detailed technical reports with recommendations.
• Support design and optimisation of electrical systems for new and existing facilities.
• Collaborate with project managers, design engineers and customers to define study scopes, deliverables and technical requirements.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as IEEE, IEC, NERC and NFPA 70E.
• Provide technical support during commissioning, troubleshooting, installation and post‑installation phases.
• Lead the technical execution of projects from design through delivery, managing specifications, timelines and budgets.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong technical expertise in power system analysis and engineering.
• Customer‑centric mindset with ability to work closely with clients and internal teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to produce clear technical documentation.
