Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

SLFE is looking for a skilled and experienced Cyber Security Specialist to join its team in Cairo. The role focuses on monitoring security alerts, responding to incidents, managing security platforms, and supporting compliance and risk‑mitigation initiatives to protect the organization’s systems and data.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse security alerts across all platforms.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Manage and maintain security platforms and tools.
• Support compliance initiatives and risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve the overall security posture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of hands‑on cybersecurity experience.
• Preferred certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, SC‑200, SC‑300, ISO 27001, CISM, CISSP.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with cybersecurity trends.
