Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

The Cybersecurity Engineer will protect the customer’s IT environment by monitoring threats, managing firewalls, performing vulnerability assessments, and responding to security incidents. This role ensures compliance with security policies and continuously improves the overall security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and investigate incidents.
• Manage firewall configurations and enforce security policies.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation.
• Respond to and resolve security events promptly.
• Support compliance initiatives and maintain related documentation.
• Document security procedures and maintain up‑to‑date records.
• Identify and propose security improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with enterprise firewall technologies.
• Familiarity with security standards and best practices.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, Fortinet NSE, or Cisco Security are a plus.
