Data Analytics Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to strengthen our Information Technology team. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining high‑quality reports and dashboards, ensuring data integrity, and supporting business intelligence initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
• Create complex Cognos reports (Report Studio) and, when required, Cognos BI v11.2.1 dashboards.
• Develop and maintain OBIEE and BIP reports as needed.
• Write, tune, and maintain advanced SQL and PL/SQL scripts, procedures, and packages.
• Automate report generation to file systems or SharePoint and manage bursting to mailing lists.
• Participate in data migration projects and design security models for Cognos and Power BI.
• Install, configure, and upgrade Cognos BI environments.
• Deliver daily departmental reports with a 97%+ SLA compliance.
• Draft and review RFPs for BI projects, coordinate with suppliers, and monitor project timelines.
• Monitor BI and ETL services to ensure continuous operation.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in data warehousing, BI reporting, and analytics.
• Strong background with Cognos, Power BI, and data‑quality methodologies.
• Proven ability to understand and work with dimensional data models.
• Experience with Google BigQuery and Oracle databases.
• Excellent communication, time‑management, and presentation skills.
