Data Engineer

About the role

As a Data Quality Engineer within the Data, Insights & Artificial Intelligence (DIAI) department, you will design, build, configure, monitor and continuously improve Coca‑Cola Hellenic’s Data Quality Management solutions, focusing on the Data Control Center (DCC). You will collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, data stewards and IT partners to ensure reliable, trusted data across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Build, configure and maintain Data Quality controls in the Data Control Center.
• Translate business requirements into data quality rules, defining logic, thresholds, exception handling and reducing false positives.
• Monitor DQ performance and ensure stable DCC operations, including refresh cycles and system reliability.
• Troubleshoot failed checks, investigate data issues and perform root‑cause analysis with relevant stakeholders.
• Support incident resolution and drive continuous operational improvements.
• Implement enhancements to existing DQ checks and improve automation, scalability and reusability.
• Develop and maintain DQ dashboards and scorecards to visualise KPIs, trends and drill‑downs.
• Support data standards operationalisation and reporting on standards adherence.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager, business stakeholders, DTPS and vendors to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Run demos and workshops to support rollout, stakeholder understanding and adoption.
• Support release testing, documentation and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience in data engineering and delivery of end‑to‑end solutions.
• Ability to own deliverables from design through production support.
• Strong collaboration with product managers, business stakeholders and IT partners.
