Data Science Tech Lead

About the role

Join Henkel as a Data Science Tech Lead and drive end‑to‑end data science solutions, from exploratory analysis to production deployment, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of data science projects, ensuring models meet accuracy targets and business KPIs.
• Partner with data engineering and business stakeholders to define use cases, translate requirements, and manage agile sprints.
• Lead or contribute as the subject‑matter expert on cross‑functional teams, presenting insights to leadership and conducting workshops.
• Apply statistical modeling, machine learning, and analytics techniques on datasets ranging from small samples to petabyte‑scale data using Python, R, SQL, Spark.
• Research and prototype emerging AI/ML technologies, evaluate business value, and advise technical leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, STEM or related field.
• 5‑8 years of relevant experience in data science or machine learning.
• Proven ability to work in agile environments and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills, able to explain complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
