Database Support Analyst

About the role

Under close guidance, the Database Support Analyst will acquire data from external suppliers, format it for IQVIA systems, and ensure that incoming data meets quality standards. This role supports the data acquisition workflow that powers IQVIA’s clinical research and healthcare intelligence services.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, identify, and log all inbound data from suppliers.
• Replenish blank media to data suppliers when required.
• Execute data movement through IQVIA acquisition platforms following standard operating procedures.
• Perform initial volume checks to verify the realism of received data.
• Follow established procedures to resolve routine data issues.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team, follow directions accurately, and handle changing work volumes.
• Understanding of workflow and audit processes related to data handling.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PC‑based Windows applications.
• Experience using mainframe tools and third‑party software.
