Demand Planner – Africa

About the role

Signify is looking for a Demand Planner to support its Africa operations. The role focuses on forecasting demand for ATO/ETO projects, aligning forecasts with supply‑chain strategies, and ensuring product availability across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short‑, medium‑, and long‑term demand forecasts using historical data, market intelligence and statistical models.
• Lead the demand planning cycle and facilitate weekly SIOE and monthly SIOP meetings with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Align project forecasts with sales leaders and coordinate bilateral meetings for factory alignment.
• Analyze forecast accuracy, bias and other KPIs, and drive improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Finance to capture demand drivers, promotions and market trends.
• Partner with Supply Planning, Procurement and Manufacturing to balance demand and supply, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
• Monitor inventory health, manage obsolete and slow‑moving stock, and support customer service through on‑time product availability.
• Manage allocations for ATO/ETO products in cases of scarcity and provide supply updates to sales stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 84 months (7 years) of demand planning or supply‑chain forecasting experience.
• Experience with ATO (As‑To‑Order) and ETO (Engineer‑To‑Order) project environments.
• Strong analytical abilities and proven track record of improving forecast accuracy.
