Deputy Branch Manager – Nationwide Egypt

About the role

We are seeking a Deputy Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in delivering both financial and non‑financial services across Egypt. The role combines operational oversight, business development and team leadership to ensure the branch meets its performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager in supervising all branch activities, ensuring operational excellence and achievement of objectives.
• Oversee lending operations, monitor portfolio performance and guarantee compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement marketing and business development plans to reach lending, non‑financial service and revenue goals.
• Lead, coach and evaluate branch staff, managing performance, workforce development and execution of operational plans.
• Coordinate with internal departments, government agencies, financial intermediaries, NGOs and development partners to resolve operational issues and strengthen partnerships.
• Manage delivery of non‑financial services, one‑stop‑shop operations, community initiatives, exhibitions and investment promotion activities within the governorate.
• Ensure accuracy of operational reports, customer data and management information systems while maintaining internal control and audit standards.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, address escalated complaints and act on behalf of the Branch Manager when delegated.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 7–15 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of branch operations, lending processes, financial services and regulatory compliance.
