Deputy Project Manager (MEP Projects)

About the role

Egis Group is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Deputy Project Manager to join its team in Mansoura, Egypt. You will support the Project Manager in overseeing project execution, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining quality standards. The role suits someone who can manage several priorities efficiently and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling and coordinating project activities
• Monitor progress against timelines and budgets and report variances to senior management
• Prepare and maintain project documentation such as status reports, meeting minutes and records
• Coordinate communication between team members, stakeholders and clients
• Support resource allocation and scheduling, and identify risks with mitigation strategies
• Track expenses and help manage the budget
• Facilitate team meetings, track action items and support onboarding of new team members
• Analyse project data and metrics to support decisions and process improvements

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in project management, with substantial experience in MEP projects
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, MEP Engineering or Water Management
• Proven track record supporting senior project managers or leading project management teams on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects
• Fluent in English and Arabic, written and spoken
• Preference for candidates living in Gharbia, Mansoura or Kafr El-Sheikh governorates

Required skills

• Demonstrated expertise in MEP coordination and technical project delivery
• Experience with budget tracking, cost management and financial reporting
• Strong time management, organization and analytical abilities
