DevOps Engineer – 2-4 Years Experience

About the role

Ericsson is looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer to design, develop, and maintain sophisticated software solutions that align with customers' business goals. You will work closely with product owners, developers, and key stakeholders to deliver high‑quality services in a fast‑paced, Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the full software lifecycle: requirement analysis, system and architecture design, coding, testing, integration, and documentation.
• Manage infrastructure services such as Kubernetes clusters, databases, and analytics platforms.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure timely service restoration within SLA limits.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the development team, translating needs into technical solutions.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and continuously improve processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of hands‑on experience in software development and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work across multiple cultures and collaborate with diverse teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in an OOP language (preferably Java) and scripting languages such as Bash.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, YAML, and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and database concepts.
• Familiarity with micro‑services architecture and cloud technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
