DevOps Engineer

About the role

Join MTS, the team behind Egypt’s National Single Window for Foreign Trade, as a DevOps Engineer. You will shape and evolve the global container orchestration strategy that powers a high‑performance, unified trade platform.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines with strong security controls.
• Design, deploy, and operate production‑grade Kubernetes (or OpenShift/Rancher) clusters, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Manage ingress and edge traffic using Nginx or Envoy‑based controllers, applying modern Gateway API standards.
• Develop and maintain Helm charts and Kustomize overlays for multi‑environment releases.
• Implement observability solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and the ELK Stack.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, enforcing state hygiene and policy checks.
• Configure and tune message brokers such as Kafka and RabbitMQ for high availability.
• Support databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch) covering performance, backup, and availability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional DevOps experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent communication skills.
