Digital Governance Officer – Banking Compliance

About the role

Join MashreqBank Egypt’s Egypt‑SMEs‑NeoBiz team as a Digital Governance Officer. You will help maintain a robust control environment, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve operational risk processes across digital banking services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent control environment and validate data for customer applications on Camunda.
• Promote compliance and operational excellence across all Camunda‑based processes.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate operational risk and control measures.
• Review and update operating procedures to align with regulations and control frameworks.
• Track and manage open audit findings, driving timely closures.
• Ensure data cleansing and document renewal tasks are completed efficiently.
• Perform end‑to‑end completeness checks on customer applications.
• Monitor digital processes and customer journeys to identify compliance and conduct risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks independently.

Required skills

• Camunda (or similar workflow management tool) proficiency.
