Director of Operations – Hotel & Resort

About the role

The Director of Operations will partner closely with the General Manager to ensure seamless daily operations at the Continental Plaza Beach Resort. This senior leader will drive guest satisfaction, uphold brand standards, and support financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager and act in their stead when required.
• Lead and assign daily tasks to staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Develop and enforce service‑recovery procedures to guarantee guest satisfaction.
• Address guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Assist the General Manager in creating, implementing, and monitoring financial and operating plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hotel Administration or Business Administration.
• Minimum three years of hotel/guest‑service experience, including at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in extended‑stay or similarly sized hotels with a food‑and‑beverage component is preferred.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
