Dual Enrollment Specialist – Higher Education

About the role

The Dual Enrollment Specialist supports Louisiana State University of Alexandria’s Dual Enrollment program, acting as a liaison between high schools, students, and the university. This role ensures smooth processing of applications, registrations, and ongoing support for dual‑enrolled students.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and process dual enrollment paperwork from high‑school personnel.
• Verify student eligibility and manage applications for preparatory (Prep) students.
• Process registrations, course changes, and maintain accurate records in Docubase.
• Advise parents and students on admissions, registration, and program deadlines.
• Recruit additional high schools and represent LSUA at informational meetings.
• Provide orientation for dual‑enrolled students and parents.
• Conduct degree audits for students pursuing an associate’s degree.
• Follow Louisiana Board of Regents policies for dual enrollment programming.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
