EHS Manager

About the role

JTI is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead the environmental, health, and safety agenda across all operations in Egypt. You will ensure regulatory compliance, promote a proactive safety culture, and drive sustainability initiatives that support our business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of EHS policies to achieve full regulatory and corporate compliance.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through leadership engagement, awareness programs, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for offices, warehouses, fleet, contractors, and projects.
• Manage incident reporting, investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Develop and oversee environmental management practices, including waste, energy efficiency, and emissions reduction.
• Design and deliver EHS training for employees and contractors.
• Monitor, analyse, and report EHS performance metrics to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and regional EHS teams to align with global standards and sustainability targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a national EHS management certificate.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in health and safety roles.
• Strong knowledge of local legislation, ISO standards, and EHS management systems.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and influence stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
