Electrical Construction Manager - Giza

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for an Electrical Construction Manager based in Giza. The role oversees all electrical construction activities on site, ensuring timely execution, cost efficiency, quality standards and compliance with design specifications and safety regulations. It calls for strong leadership to manage teams, subcontractors and coordination with other disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the planning, execution and delivery of all electrical construction works across the project lifecycle.
• Review electrical designs, shop drawings and technical submittals for constructability and compliance with project specifications.
• Develop and manage project schedules, material procurement plans and manpower allocation for electrical works.
• Lead and coordinate with site engineers, foremen, technicians and subcontractors to ensure quality and progress.
• Monitor installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems (LV, MV, lighting, power, fire alarm, ELV, BMS, etc.).
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical and other trades to avoid conflicts.
• Enforce safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Attend progress, coordination and technical meetings with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Manage inspections, approvals and handover procedures for electrical systems.
• Control project costs for electrical works and prepare reports such as progress updates, resource plans, risk assessments and project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical work.
• Proven experience managing large project teams and subcontractors.
• PMP certification or equivalent is an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electrical systems, design interpretation, construction practices and codes such as NEC and IEC.
• Project management, organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and coordination with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; Primavera and MS Project are a plus.
