Electrical Construction Team Leader (Night Shifts)

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for an Electrical Construction Team Leader in Cairo who will supervise and coordinate all electrical works on site. The role leads site teams, ensures compliance with design specifications, safety and quality standards, and acts as the main point of contact for electrical works at project level. It is a night-shift position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage on-site electrical teams, including electricians, technicians and subcontractors.
• Oversee the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, fire alarm and low current systems.
• Interpret electrical drawings and ensure they are implemented correctly on site.
• Coordinate daily work and keep it aligned with the project schedule and milestones.
• Hold daily briefings and toolbox talks to reinforce safety and quality awareness.
• Monitor progress, spot delays or obstacles and take corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Inspect work with QA/QC engineers and consultants and supervise material handling and installation.
• Work with civil, mechanical and other disciplines to avoid clashes.
• Train and guide team members and report daily progress, manpower and site issues to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 6 years of experience in electrical site works, including at least 3 years in a team leader or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation procedures and safety standards.
• Familiarity with project drawings, specifications and international codes such as NEC and IEC.
• Good understanding of construction site practices and coordination processes.
• Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.

• Proficiency in MS Office and basic AutoCAD skills are a plus.
