Electrical Design Engineer – Low Voltage

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer specialized in low‑voltage systems to join alfanar Electric’s design team. The role involves studying, designing and delivering protection and control panels while ensuring compliance with company standards and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Attend project launch meetings, prepare job files and review contractual documents.
• Collaborate with the Design Section Manager to define project schedules and create electrical drawings using design software.
• Supervise CAD operators, produce panel layouts, one‑line diagrams, civil work guides and schematic designs in AutoCAD.
• Verify drawing accuracy, issue Bills of Materials in SAP and release production drawings according to plan.
• Coordinate material usage, prioritize production releases and support mechanical teams for MMR issuance.
• Provide technical assistance to production and quality control, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of low‑voltage protection and control panel design.
• Ability to follow departmental policies, quality standards and health‑safety procedures.
