Electrical Engineer – Industrial Experience

About the role

Eshratex Spinning S.A.E, a leading textile manufacturer in Alexandria, Egypt, is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to maintain and enhance the electrical systems that drive its high-quality cotton yarn production. The role is full-time and based on-site within a modern plant equipped with machinery from RIETER, Schlafhorst, Savio and other global suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of industrial electrical systems, control panels and production equipment to minimise downtime.
• Develop and execute preventive‑maintenance schedules for all electrical assets.
• Diagnose and resolve complex faults in PLCs, motors, drives, VFDs and other automated systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and technical manuals for installations and repairs.
• Support the installation, commissioning and testing of new machinery.
• Collaborate with production and mechanical teams to ensure seamless plant operations.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and energy optimisation.
• Maintain an organised inventory of electrical spare parts and components.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in a heavy‑industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, servo motors and industrial control systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good understanding of electrical safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in textile manufacturing is highly desirable.
