Electrical Engineer – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You will support efficient, safe, and reliable production operations by handling maintenance activities, equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a dynamic industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned and emergency electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to ensure fast and effective problem resolution.
• Plan, document, and analyse maintenance activities, including spare parts, costs, downtime, and repair duration.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
• Monitor and maintain performance of electrical systems and production machinery.
• Support selection and management of maintenance materials and spare parts.
• Maintain and update technical documentation such as circuit diagrams and wiring layouts.
• Support onboarding and training of junior technicians and new team members.
• Report critical maintenance issues and propose improvement actions.
• Operate forklift trucks and lift platforms when required.
• Test and maintain essential systems including fire detection, HVAC, lighting, compressed air, water, and loading systems.
• Ensure full compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance environments.
• Good command of English and proficiency with MS Office tools.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office.
