Electrical Engineer – MEP Projects

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Electrical Engineer to join our on‑site team in Alexandria. You will be responsible for designing and delivering electrical systems for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects, ensuring they meet all technical and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for MEP projects and produce technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform load calculations, select equipment, and prepare power distribution layouts.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams and oversee installation activities on site.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
• Troubleshoot on‑site electrical issues and support testing, commissioning, and hand‑over processes.
• Provide technical input for maintenance plans and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in MEP contracting or construction projects, preferably in an on‑site role.
• Solid knowledge of electricity applications in building and infrastructure systems.
• Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
