Electrical Site Engineer – New Cairo

About the role

Vantage Developments is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to supervise and monitor electrical installation activities on its residential projects in New Cairo. The role involves ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all electrical installation works on site, including power, lighting, low‑current, earthing, and cable installations.
• Conduct daily site inspections to verify workmanship quality, installation methods, and progress.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, and MEP teams to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor subcontractors, report progress, quality issues, and delays to the Senior Electrical Engineer.
• Work with Procurement to guarantee timely delivery of materials and verify received items against specifications.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and inspection of electrical systems, and prepare punch lists and as‑built documentation.
• Support project handover by ensuring all electrical works and documentation are completed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical site supervision, preferably on residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials, installation methods, specifications, and quality standards.
• Effective communication and coordination with subcontractors, consultants, and internal departments.
• Ability to identify execution issues early and propose technical solutions.
• Good understanding of safety regulations, construction standards, and quality control.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
