Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Farms

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer ensures the reliability and continuous operation of all electrical equipment and systems across farm facilities. You will plan and execute preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance while supporting improvement initiatives to maximise equipment availability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Maintain electrical panels, motors, generators, transformers, pumps and lighting systems.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and HSE policies.
• Coordinate with mechanical and production teams for smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare technical reports.
• Participate in equipment installation, commissioning and modification projects.
• Manage spare‑parts requirements for electrical maintenance.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in agriculture, manufacturing or industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, motors, generators, control panels and troubleshooting.
• Good analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
