Electrical Sales Engineer

About the role

Prime Group, the official distributor of brands such as GEWISS, Shell, Chint and Etisalat, is looking for an Electrical Sales Engineer to drive project sales in the electrical sector. Based in Nasr City, Cairo, you will generate new business, prepare technical proposals and support clients throughout the sales cycle while working closely with the technical team to ensure solutions meet client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new project opportunities, clients and markets to expand business.
• Submit company pre‑qualifications, catalogs and samples to register GEWISS on client vendor lists.
• Prepare accurate quotations, technical submittals and respond to client technical inquiries.
• Conduct client visits, follow up on pending projects and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Participate in negotiations to close deals and achieve annual sales targets.
• Provide management with sales reports, market feedback and competitor insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 1‑3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in power automation or wiring devices.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and persuasion abilities.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Target‑oriented, self‑motivated, highly organized and presentable.
• Car ownership is preferred.
• Ability to travel to client sites and work independently as needed.
