Electrical Site Engineer – Ras El Hekma

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Site Engineer to lead the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems on a construction project in Ras El Hekma. The role ensures that all electrical works are carried out safely, on schedule and in line with design specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of lighting, power distribution, fire alarm and grounding systems.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications and project documents to guarantee correct implementation on site.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and other disciplines (civil, mechanical) to avoid conflicts and maintain workflow.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure progress aligns with the project schedule.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Verify quantities and prepare material requisitions as required.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support and solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of electrical work, test results and as‑built drawings.
• Hand over materials and completed works to the consultant.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in site execution of electrical works on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, drawings and site practices.
• Familiarity with local electrical codes and international standards such as NEC and IEC.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and ability to work under pressure.
• High attention to detail and a quality‑assurance mindset.
