Electrical Technical Office Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Technical Office Engineer will support the project team by preparing and managing technical documentation, ensuring compliance with consultant approvals, and monitoring subcontractor performance. This position is based on‑site in Sidi Gaber, Alexandria and requires close coordination with consultants and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings and as‑built drawings and ensure they are reviewed and approved by the consultant.
• Study and prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) and follow up on subcontractor progress.
• Prepare technical and material submittals and obtain necessary approvals.
• Manage quantity surveying, change orders, and conduct quantity surveys for all executed work.
• Review subcontractor invoices and issue orders to pay.
• Check the quality of executed work and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Follow up on shop drawing and material submittal approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a construction or real‑estate environment.
• Residency in Alexandria.
