Electrical Testing Engineer

About the role
Giza Power Industry is seeking an Electrical Testing Engineer to ensure the quality of power cables produced in its modern Giza factory. The role involves performing in‑process and final tests, troubleshooting faults, and supporting continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise preparation and setup of electrical cable tests.
- Execute in‑process and final cable testing according to applicable standards and specifications.
- Detect cable faults, conduct troubleshooting, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor calibration certificates and coordinate timely renewals with the line manager.
- Perform cable testing for customers and inspection authorities to obtain approvals for delivery.
- Oversee technician performance and interact with inspection committees.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in the cable industry.
- Good command of English.
- Flexibility to work on shift rotation.
- Strong problem analysis and solving abilities.
