Electronic Medical Record Team Lead

About the role

The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Team Lead will manage the daily operations of the EMR team in Cairo, ensuring accurate, timely entry and maintenance of patient records while complying with organizational standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor workflow, assign and review tasks, and resolve escalated record issues.
• Coordinate with medical and customer service teams to maintain data integrity and support internal stakeholders.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
• Develop and refine documentation processes and contribute to reporting and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with management on resource planning and basic budgeting for EMR activities.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Foundational budgeting knowledge to assist with resource planning.
• Basic understanding of medical or clinical terminology.
• Proven experience leading or supervising teams in healthcare, EMR, or data‑intensive environments.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
