Elevator & Escalator Service Technician

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join Otis in Cairo. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on elevators and escalators to ensure safety and reliability for our customers.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in elevator and escalator systems.
- Carry out repairs and routine maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) to optimise performance and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of all service activities and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high‑quality customer service.
Required profile
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or B.Tech.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry.
- Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator components and systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a field team.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
