Elevator & Escalator Service Technician

About the role

Otis is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join its Cairo team. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of elevators and escalators through troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues in elevators and escalators.
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance on elevator and escalator systems.
• Conduct Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to maintain optimal performance and safety.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Otis standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or a B.Tech.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry.
• Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator components and systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
