Email Marketing Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an Email Marketing Manager to own the full email lifecycle for our clients, from strategy and segmentation to build, test, and performance analysis. This hands‑on role treats the inbox as a revenue channel and works with established CRM and automation platforms to deliver measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, build, and deploy promotional, lifecycle, and transactional email campaigns.
• Design and maintain automated workflows using platforms such as Klaviyo, HubSpot, Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign.
• Create audience segments based on behavioural, demographic and purchase data to drive relevance.
• Write compelling subject lines and body copy, and coordinate with design to produce email templates.
• Run A/B tests on subject lines, calls‑to‑action, send times and content blocks.
• Track and report open rates, click‑through, conversion, unsubscribe and revenue metrics.
• Maintain list health, manage suppression lists and monitor sender reputation and deliverability.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in email marketing with direct ownership of campaigns and automation.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major ESP (e.g., Klaviyo, HubSpot, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Brevo).
• Proven ability to build multi‑step flows such as welcome, abandoned cart, win‑back and post‑purchase sequences.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign data and inform decisions.
• Ability to write clear, on‑brand email copy independently.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email rendering and compliance with GDPR and CAN‑SPAM.
