Entry-Level QC Analyst – Software Quality Assurance

About the role

Nexttec Technology is looking for an entry‑level QC Analyst to support product teams throughout the IT product development lifecycle. You will work alongside experienced quality professionals, Scrum Masters, Product Owners and developers to ensure that quality standards are consistently applied.

Key responsibilities

• Support product teams in following quality guidelines and best practices.
• Monitor quality checkpoints and gates across the product lifecycle.
• Track and report quality‑related metrics and indicators.
• Participate in quality reviews, identify improvement areas and follow up on corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners and development teams to promote quality awareness.
• Prepare quality reports and presentations.
• Assist onboarding of new team members on quality processes and standards.
• Act as a first point of contact for basic quality questions and escalate complex issues.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives across teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field (or final‑year student).
• 0–2 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing or IT projects.
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a quality‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar tool.
• Jira or comparable issue‑tracking system.
• Software testing concepts and quality‑assurance principles.
• CI/CD concepts.
• Requirements management, defect tracking and release processes.
• Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban).
